We also have optional road hazard warranty that will costs $7.99 per tire and cover free tire repairs and replacement in the event that a tire is damaged and not repairable (excludes vandalism and fire).

Tire Maintenance

Is it time for tire service? As a general rule, you should check your tires at least once a month and before any long road trips. Recognizing the warning signs will help you identify the right time to bring your vehicle in to your dealership.

Know the warning signs of worn tires:

• Excessive inner or outer edge tire tread wear (SERVICE = Alignment Service)
• Excessive center or shoulder tread wear (SERVICE = Properly inflate tire)
• Patchy tread wear patterns (SERVICE = Tire Rotation/Alignment Service)
• Visible tread wear indicators in a few spots around the tire (SERVICE = Requires Tire Replacement)
• Cord or fabric is showing through the rubber (SERVICE = Requires Tire Replacement)
• The tire has a bulge or is split (SERVICE = Requires Tire Replacement)
• The tire is punctured, cut or has irreparable damage (SERVICE = Requires Tire Replacement)
• Wheel (Rim) is bent, cracked or badly rusted or corroded (SERVICE = Wheel (Rim) Replacement)

When To Buy Tires

Tires don't last forever. The two main reasons one may buy new tires are tire wear and tire damage.

You can perform a simple tread wear test with a penny.

• 1) Put the edge of the coin into the tread, with the Queen going in head first.
• 2) If the top of the Queen's head is covered by tread, that's good. If the top of her head is entirely visible, it's time to replace the tire.
